Site context

The Site is home to the existing Crescent House building, home to the CNWL Wembley campus and opened in 1995. The building now looks tired and aged, particularly given the extensive redevelopment of its surrounding area, and is no longer fit for purpose.

The site is the first visual focal point of the wider Wembley Masterplan when exiting Wembley Park Underground Station and walking towards the iconic Wembley Stadium along the now reinvigorated Olympic Way.

The redevelopment of this site will not only deliver new homes and enable the creation of world class education facilities off site, but is also an opportunity to design a landmark building fitting of its iconic and modern setting.

Design

We have created a design which responds to the housing needs of Brent and which feels at home within the Wembley Park neighbourhood. The design will be in keeping with and complementary to the character and context of the local area.

The height and massing have been designed to be in harmony with the surrounding buildings, as buildings heights recede towards Wembley Stadium and grow taller towards the perimeter of the neighbourhood.
